This Privacy Policy describes how the bfh-youtube application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when it accesses Google and YouTube services on behalf of the account owner. The App is an internal automation tool used solely to publish and analyze video content on channels owned or controlled by us.
With your explicit authorization through Google's OAuth consent flow, the App accesses a limited set of your Google/YouTube data strictly to provide its functionality:
The App only accesses accounts that explicitly grant it permission, and only the scopes you approve.
The App uses YouTube API Services. By using the App you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of Google services through the App is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Accessed data is used only to publish our own content and to evaluate its performance so we can improve future content. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties, except as necessary to transmit it to the Google/YouTube APIs that provide the functionality.
OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely on our own systems and are used only to perform the actions you authorized. Tokens are retained until access is revoked or deleted.
You may revoke the App's access at any time at Google Account permissions. Upon revocation, the App can no longer access your data, and stored tokens are deleted. To request deletion of any retained data, contact us at the address below.
The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
